The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Fatigue

For quite a few months now I have been suffering from fatigue, but I have no idea why, it isn't anything to do with lifting because it started before I started lifting.
I'm also stuffed up all the time and I get headaches and sometimes stomach aches, a bit like a long term cold without the fever, it has also been getting worse over the last few weeks. Anyone know what could be causing this?
Also, are there any natural sups/herbs that are good for fatigue?

I mentioned it to him a while ago and he didn't really know why (I don't think he thought it was important), but I'm going to see him again in a few days.

Hair and nails are fine, eyes are not puffy, Sometimes I sleep for about 12 hours bout usually 8-10, haven't had any large weight loss or gain.
I have had quite dry and sometimes sore skin on my face, but that may just be the cold weather here.
I can't think of anything else.

hmm....i would have tyour doctor run some bloodwork, specifically a thyroid panel, and adrenal too if he's willing to do that. if you are getting 12 hours of sleep, and not feeling rested for it, there's a problem there. that coupled with the lowered immunity and the "winter itch", make me wonder.

Thanks, I had a thyroid check not long ago for something else and it was fine, but I haven't had adrenal.
What do you think it could be?

well...do you have the labe results from your thryoid check?

adrenal is kind of a hard test to run.....and my instinct is a thyroid first. problem is you could be borderline, or it could be pituitary. If you've already had thyroid tests run before....then my feeling s that it is something endocrinal, but your doctor may not be detecting it. If you have those lab results, post them up. if you don't..get another thyroid panel done, make sure to ask for a copy of your lab report, and post em.
