This past weekend, I was wrestling around with my cousins and I think I pinched a nerve in my lower neck or upper back. It hurts pretty much where the neck meets the neck and it feels like the muscle or nerve is just to the left of my spine. I know that is great terminology.
But today I am still sore and have limited mobility but I am going to do some cardio on the stationary bike at the gym. My question is what exercises if any could I do that would not put a lot of pressure on my back or should I just wait until my back feels good?
Saturday I iced the area 10 min on and 10 min off for an hour and then the same on Sunday. I take Motrin to kind of ease the pain.
Any suggestions on best steps to recovory would be greatly appreciated. I also have a mountain bike race this sunday that I hope to be healthy for.
