    Ready made deli chicken you wilding son!!!!!!!

    Sup WBBF i was wondering if ready made deli chicken is good for you. Here are the nutrional values. To me it seems as its a good source of protein and low in fat. All you gotta do is heat it in the microwave for 3mins and each pack weights 200g.

    Typical 100g provides

    energy = 127kcal
    protein = 26.6g
    carbs = 0.2g
    of which sugars = 0.2

    fat = 2.2g
    of which saturates = 1.0g
    mono unsaturates = 0.8g
    polyunsaturates = 0.3g

    fibre = 0.0g
    sodium = 0.2g

    A single scoop of protein powder has nearly the same profile and is most likely a lot cheaper.

    Other than that... looks like... chicken.

    Two scoops of protein powder really shouldn't cost more than 40 pence. But who wants to LIVE off protein powder?

    =) I only buy the 27p tins of tuna, bar staff can't afford the posh £1 a crack brands. Is there even a difference? + they do 200g packets of this in iceland for £1 a time. We need to get a budget WBB UK shopping list thread going on

    Following from the above, in modern society people believe cost to be synonymous with quality. Netto is top quality danish food @ cheap ass prices, they do this deli meat there, 500g for £1.19 or so. It's the real deal, not the chicken goolies cut with gristle.
