this is for anyone that set a new PR for this week. what was it?
for me it was bench. 175x1. i trained with only dumbells for 2-3 months and finally hit my goal of 170 by september.

Deadlifted as heavy as I ever have before, 225lbs x 5 for a few sets. I started deadlifting a couple months ago with only 135. These things HURT my lower back !
Detard - I noticed in your sig you are training for MMA. Where do you live? I've been trying to get a fight in one of the medium sized orgs for a little while now, KOTC etc. I have done a bit of training at my local camp Daddis Fight CAmps, but because of the long drive, I'm a bit stuck to learning things with private instructors. I have a pretty strong beginner BJJ game and a wrestling background.
I got 510x1 on deadlift in the past week. 325x3x3 on ATF Squats yesterday.
ahh good stuff man. im in toronto. i train at kombat arts. www.kombatarts.com once i can drive i will be traiinging 4-5 days a week. right now i only train 2-3 times a week. i dont take mma classes. i train in muay thai and BJJ so that i can learn each style properly. i'm still waiting for my first fight. hopefully by next march, but im really trying for december. where do you train?
oh and we held the mma tryouts at kombat arts 2 weeks ago. we had scouts from tko, kotc, and a few other smaller orgs.
I managed a flat bench press PR of 330lbs x 1 and a deadlift PR of 405lbs. x 1 this week. I haven't been deadlifting that long so I was pretty happy about that one.
Weight: 200 lbs.
Bulking since May (175 lbs.)
Hope to hit 210 lbs. by the end of Sept.

215lb Atlas Stone x 7 reps (in 10 mins).. previous PR 2 reps
And 400 lb tire flip x 10 reps in 1 minute.. PR b/c I had never done it before.. lol
I got the Atlas Stone a couple months ago.. couldn't do one rep...
Was stuck at 2 reps for the last month..
I think my vacation the previous week helped..

But managed a dumbbell clean PR of 170 (total weight) for 5 reps.
And a pistol PR of 45lbs x 5, each side.
Still pissed about missing the bench PR, though.
