The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Eating so much it hurts.

I did a couple searches but there were WAY too many related articles, so if this is a repeat topic, feel free to delete it or redirect me to the appropriate thread.

    That being said...

How many of you bulkers get the "Oh man, I just ate so much I think I'm going ot throw up!" feeling everytime you eat? I've been trying to get up over 240lbs and the sheer amount of volume of food I have to eat (I strayed away from shakes mostly, been sticking to whole foods) has me constantly feeling like a stuffed turkey. I don't mind it, it's what I have to do to reach my goal, just curious how many other people have the same daily battles? I can't even imagine what some of you bigger guys go through, I am at the 5.5-6k cals/day range and I know some of you guys intake about 6-10k cals/day.

So, share your stomach popping stories, I wanna know who else out there is struggling with me!!!

Honestly I WISH I had to eat that much, I can down 3-4 without blinking an eye... I would only begin to get uncomfortable in the 7-9 range.

Nice, I am naturally about a 4k cal/day diet. I have to force the extra 2k. I eat very clean too, egg whites, cottage cheese, milk, grilled chicken, etc. so it's not exactly overwhelmingly flavorful on the way down. It's like a full time job and the only paycheck is looking sexy in the mirror.

When you're full, drink a milkshake. You can always cram more.

Shakes are the easiest way for me to slam calories. If I tried eating as many calories from whole food as I did from shakes, I'd die.

Half my calories are from shakes lol.

If I don't buy my protein I would probably be around 125 lbs.-130 lbs. right now. Wow. My parents aren't rich either...I wish I could enjoy a nice steak everyday.

Do the opposite of dieting tactics, IMO.

    I (An Idiot), do;

Eat different types of food - how often have you heard 'Damn I'm full....Who wants pudding?'
Liquid food is amazingly easy to put away
Eat with a 15 minute time frame - once again liquid helps!
    Dirty carbs add up quickly...
    Milk.
More food intervals, that stomach shoves some serious volume!
    Lots of fibre.
    Lots and lots of fat.

Yeah I know shakes are an easy way to pound some calories down. I'm just wondering if anyone has been gorging on whole foods and shares the same "my belly is about to burst open" sentiments. I love gaining, but damn, sometimes feeling like the pillsbury doughboy sucks, haha.

I couldn't find any pics of you Bro...You got some? What you weigh now if your looking to be 240? Do you take in any protein or calories during the night...if not...you should. Everytime you wake to piss or get a glass of water...down some milk or yogurt...something easy to drink or eat. Keeping a steady flow of protein and carbs around the clock really helps feed the muscles and pack on the pounds.

When I went to Golden Corral I had seven plate of food in less than thirty minutes and then I topped it off with three glasses of lemonade. When I left I had to run to a bathroom in Walmart and I had a little bit of stuff come up because I was so full it was not settling in my stomach any longer. I would suggest sucking it up and to just keep going with the feeling.

Without shakes I would probably still be ~180 lbs.

I simply could not force myself to eat that much.
