The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I really dont see how you missed that at all... maybe do some heavy 3 boards and some tricep work???

For how easy you nailed 405 (like its as easy as I get 225) you should have been able to get 440 no problem.

Were you trying to impress the blond with your huge lifts? Maybe try an energy thingy like red bull or something next time before you attempt it.

    Me too :O

I'd feel like a big man if I can deadlift 4 plates per side (405). Lol and HB is going for more than 4 plates per side on a the bench press.

My sticking point is the same for 200lbs!! Lol. I need to do some board stuff.

Awesome fail HB, but a real question is how much do you row?

That's funny because it's the same for me. The bar slowed down A LOT (elbows started shaking) around middle of ROM.

Too crazy to go outside, not crazy enough to have imaginary friends.
I think it's kind of interesting how the blonde doesn't appear until you set up to bence and once you failed she disappeared.
Coincidence? Hardly. It's more like she was an agent sent by the evil amazonian guild of man haters to mess up your bench because nothing threatens them more than a man with strength and self-confidence... but I digress.

    Nice attempt, man.

Real close man, missing the lockout always blows. Rack presses and weighted dips for the win!

I have been doing boards and lockouts. My triceps are strong enough. I was confident I was going to make the lift but I just didn't perform. I didn't even realize that chic was there so I can't blame her.
Oh what the hell, IT WAS ALL HER FAULT!

Awesome lifts man. Funny that nobody reads the thread because like 7 people commented on the yellow-shirted woman like they were saying something original. :P Keep it up man.
