Bulking w/o losing or gaining fat.
In the last few months I have been gaining a little bodyfat while bulking, but recently I have stopped gaining fat. I'm assuming this is because my extra new muscle has raised my daily calorie maintenance level so that I am neither gaining or losing fat. My question is, should I look to increase my calorie intake so that I continue to gain a little bodyfat as I was before? I'm worried that by not gaining a little bodyfat, my muscle gains might be restricted.
Or does it not matter to muscle gains?
I would use your bodyweight as a guide - if it is increasing, your fine. If it is stalling, then add 100-200 calories a day. I wouldn't complain if you weren't gaining fat while bulking
