My traps are sore as hell today. I hope they'll loosen up before more hang cleans tomorrow...

    Grip not happy

    Notes
Solid workout. The PC&J felt pretty good. I definately had a lot more strength in the tank - these were supposed to be lightish. Farmer's were heavy, but I started to get the hand of walking fast/running with the weight. Although it feels better alreadt, my grip still has a long way to go.

I likes the plan you have to get ready for the strongman contest. Do you have access to a lot of the implements?

120 lb aint half too bad for a clean and jerk, that lift is super. how come they dont have it as full clean and jerk?

Hopefully I'll be able to work the log and tire when the snow melts.

I think it is supposed to be the full clean and jerk, but I'm not comfortable with my clean and jerk form. I have terrible wrist flexibility and I always end catching the bar on my collar bone instead of my shoulders.

yeah I'm going to start doing some lighter warmups to work on form. Right now I've been doing the power clean then getting it in the proper position and trying to hold it for a while. I'm very inflexible

sounds good man. also if you got a squat rack you could work on your grip from the racked bar and you dont have to clean it up and risk hurtin yourself with the landing.

    Power Cleans
light stuff to wamup and work on form
    5x55kg
    5x55kg
    5x55kg

    Squat
    5x135
    5x185
    3x225

    Add belt for working sets
    5x275
    5x275
    5x275
    4x275
    3x275

    Push Press
    Speed work
    5x105 kind of slow
    5x95
    5x95
    5x95

    Notes
The cleans felt great. Again, strength was not an issue but the lungs started complaining on the last set. The first couple sets of squats felt strong, but my quad didn't feel so hot after the 4th or 5th set. Also, the speed on the push press was awesome on the last set.

That was nuts. For anyone who doesn't know what this, we klotz found a broken bar and we also found a set of allen keys. Taking off the collar and loading it with plates made for a ghetto atlas stone we (mostly klotz haha) screwed around with it for a while. It weighed 70kg + collar and is ****ing awkward!
