hahaha I already lost a pair of shorts because of my ass and my bathing suit isn't far behind. PS 3 plates for 5x5 is going to be sick

Is it even necessary to state how I feel about your squats? Great work man. I can't wait to see what kind of numbers you hit if you ever get around to bulking.

Picturing you hitting yourself in the chin doing power cleans made me laugh haha. A couple months ago I was doing defecit sumos, and at the top of rep #4, I fell backward and cranked my head on a power squat machine behind me.

    Gotta love gym bloopers

****, your squatting doesn't end. It just keeps getting stronger, lol. Nice work, bro. Hitting yourself with Cleans sucks. I've done exactly what you did. Feels like **** and ruins the lift for sure. Although, I probably would have laughed if I were there

Hitting yourself in the chin while cleaning does wake you up. Just wait until you catch your nose during a jerk or push press.

oh God, push presses are the worst for that. It's definitely a friendly reminder to keep your form together haha

    "Recovery"
    Squat
    bunch x bar
    5 x 135
    5 x 185
5 x 225 feeling sore today, kept the weight down a little
    5 x 225

    Overhead Press
    bunch x bar
    3 x 65
5 x 95 these felt great. Will try going up in 2.5 lb increments.
    5 x 95
    5 x 95

    Deadlift
    5 x 135
    3 x 185
    2 x 225
    1 x 275
    add belt
    1 x 315
    1 x 365
    Video

2 x 405 I've been a little too agressive and overtrained my deadlift. Going to reset by dropping 10% and starting again. Also, the second rep was WAY easier
    Video

    Notes
I think I've been beating myself up on deads....I just realized I've actually gone to failure for the last 3 weeks. Time to reset. On the up side, I did get video of it (woot!) and killed my overhead press

Lookin good big guy. Thats probably what my 405 attempt would (and might) look like too. So you put your DL's on your recovery days now? Ive presently got snatches on recovery day but I really dont like the motion or anything about snatches really and I want to put something in its place. Im thinking DLs on recovery day might make friday ME work alot easier too. Is this why you moved it?

Nice work there bro. Not sure how pulling a max double, missing the 3rd rep, is any good for recovery

I've always had the DLs on recovery days because that's the version of the routine I had found. Oddly enough it seems to work for recovery, I guess because there's only the one set across. Anyways, my plan is to lower the weight by 10% (to 365) are start pulling for 5's again.

Haha, do whatever works for you! I'm still confused on that topic. My thread didn't end up how I expected it to.

Your 2nd rep was really fast! I'm surprised that you went for it after how slow the 1st went but it was great to see. What happened on the 3rd because based on how fast the 2nd was, it looked like you had 4 or 5 in you?

    Intensity
    Squat
    bunch x bar
    5 x 135
    3 x 185
    1 x 225 ridiculous speed
    1 x 275
    1 x 315 really good rep
    1 x 375 PR +5

    Bench press
    bunch x bar
    5 x 95
    3 x 115
    1 x 135
    5 x 165
    5 x 165
    5 x 165 getting pretty slow...

    Chinups
    5
    5
    5
    4

    Notes
Squats felt stupid good today. Could have got another 10 lbs, easy. I went a little slower on the way down for my benching and that seemed to help a lot with my form. More control = good. I was stretching afterwards and heard a pop in my shoulder and now it hurts Iced it and took some Advil...hopefully it won't turn into anything ****ty.
