I hear ya. I've been trying to do some light cardio after my squat workouts latley and it seems to help a little bit with soreness.

yeah for sure. I walk home from the gym (~40 minutes) and that has helped alot. Monday I had to go back to my office and then proctor an exam.....not exactly a good way to prevent stiffness

Pretty good workout. My shoulder's a little sore from the OHP. I misgrooved one of the reps which burnt me out pretty bad. I don't know if I'll be able to get all 15 reps next session, but I should be good for 13 or 14.

I found out there's a powerlifting club in my area that meets monthly and a bunch of guys from my gym go there. Definitely gotta check that out

Great workout. Everything felt good even though my elbow was a little sore. I play hockey at 11 tonight. Should be.....interesting.

I signed up for the strength and conditioning club which consists of about 20 people who want to get strong. They have all sorts of awesome equipment including chains, boards and a sled

    I am weaker then you but I am bigger than you. (305/215/400 S/B/DL), but I weigh 210 @ 12-15%.

So my guess is your diet is holding you back, double up on your calories. And maybe do more assistance work in the hypertrophy range. Moving big weights doesn't always mean you are gonna be big, you gotta eat like a big man and train for size if you wanna be big IMO.

I haven't done any powerlifting stuff so I am pretty weak for my size, but training heavy in the hypertrophy range seems to be working well for me and I have gotten a lot bigger.

Just some food for thought I guess.

Thanks for the advice Orgok. I'm gaining as is right now, so I think doubling up on my cals would be a bad idea haha

OHP is looking real strong. Squats are ridiculous as always - that's almost 2xbw for 5x5!

Thanks man! Squats have always been my strong suit, so seeing my OHP go up makes me happy! I didn't think I'd be able to add 3 reps in just a few days

Jebus, 315 5x5 is insane, dude! I would have NEVER guessed you could squat such weight when I saw you.

I'm with the majority here, 315 5x5 is pretty sick. I can't remember what you squatted when we trained together, but I know it was nothing close to that. Awesome work bro.

Nice work with the presses. Gaining 3 reps in a few days must feel good.

Thanks Dave. I think I was good for 300x1 when we met.....I remember doing a 405 reverse band squat and that nearly crushed me haha I'm damn near 405 for a raw single now

Hell yeah, especially because I never feel like I make progress on my presses. I think I can comfortably add 5 lbs and don't need the microweights.
