The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

i've never heard of pec cramps. I get leg and calf cramps alot while sparring.
For me, it's usually a sign that i'm dehydrated or need electrolytes.

    Mmm... potassium...

Could definitely help. Make sure your warming up as well. When I was younger I had minor cramps every workout. A good warm-up set took care of the cramps for me.

Sounds like you strained/sprained something. Let us know how it feels tomorrow and go see a doc if necessary.

other thoughts: did you just start taking creatine? are you drinking 1gallon or more of water a day?

starting creatine and not getting enough water will dehydrate you and can cause nasty cramping.

could be potassium low (hence the banana comment)

could be an injury, or just a muscle that wasn't warmed up enough.

It sounds like he did and that he attempted a max... The day after he thought he hurt himself... Ummm...

Anyway, what kind of routine are you on bro? Sounds to me like it needs some adjusting!
