I'm 175 lbs, want to hit 200lb, and starting WBB #1

All I want is to reach 200 lbs by December 31st of 2006. I am eating a lot of food (at least 5 meals a day or around 4500-5000 calories). I am very diciplined and will follow WBB#1 precisely. My frame I would say is medium and I am 6'0" as in the signature and I just started squating yesterday. I haven't done dead lifts yet. My question is will I reach 200 lbs by 12-31-06 doing WBB#1? Or have I already hit my peak at 175 lbs at 6'0"? I don't want to take steroids. I am already taking creatine and weightgainer in addition to my pretty consistent diet of 5 meals day. Thanks for any replies. I just want to be set on the right path and I feel 200 lbs isn't asking for too much. I don't want to be Mr. Olympia or anything.

Your goal is deffinetly attainable and you are on the right track. If you aren't gaining weight fast enough just start eating more.

Eat about 900 extra calories every day from here on out and you'll get there.

Why did you assume that people here would tell you to take steroids?
Face it: biceps are the muscle that classifies you as a muscle man.

That is what people always tell me when I say I want to gain weight fast. Plus, there is at least one article on here that details steroids, their history, how to use, where to find, and their side effects.

you can do it...all diet and hitting the weights HARD...do the "big lifts" and you will be fine. But once you hit 200 you will not be happy trust me...you always want more

I'd say you should be able to do it as long as you stay disciplined, which it sounds like you are. Because you will be gaining it so fast, most of it will be fat, but I assume you intend to gain some muscle and lose bodyfat at some point, correct?

Well when I started I was super cut. At 155 lbs and 6'0" I was at a all-time low of 12.2% BF. I measured myself yesterday and was at 16.7%. I don't know how to cut yet. I am just learning how to gain weight. I've never been this heavy in my life and I am always sweating now like a fat pig although I still have a flat stomach with visible 6-pack (not as visible as before). Do you guys experience this side effect? Thanks.

yes, you can do it, i did a very simlar thing myself, in only 3 months. im 6'1" and i went from 170 to 200 in 3 months, so your goal is very attainable......as long as you eat ALOT, and lift HARD, you will definatley reach your goals......and just like bics56 said, once you get there, you just want to get bigger........

I am 6' 208 today, my origional goal was to get to this weight after cutting. I agree with the post about wanting more. Once you start gaining you just want to get a little more. The bf increase comes with the territory. My abs were defined very well before and are still visable but who cares. Once you get done cutting it will be a bigger stronger you with a ripped 6. Keep the bulk as clean as possible while getting the calories and macros you need and stay on track.

You can do it, but like you said and know youll have to be disciplined and do everything everyday to get it by that date. 175 is not near the peak weight for 6 foot, not near at all. Theres guys out there who are 250 lbs of solid muscle around the 6 foot range. Good luck.

I was 160ish last Sept 2005. I'm currently 215. i'm 6' as well. what really made me grow was deadlifts, benches and squats. lift heavy, compound, do more sets, low reps. jus go heavy.

having said this, imho, i believe if you are skinny to begin with, and do not have much base strength, it might be difficult for you to heavy on the weights, e.g bench press....

always train with a spotter, jus in case u can't lift the weights... and, triceps strenghtening exercises which helps alot for pressing and pushing exercises.

    .2cents worth.
goal : get 10-12% BF, and get really strong.
