The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Pulled my glut while deadlifting?

Hi I was wondering if I actually did pull my buttcheek while deadlifting. Pain starts just above the left buttox and ends just prior to the hamstring. could be hip abductor, hopefully not lumbar strain.

    Please advise.

Well initially I was worried about the injury, but after about 8 hours or so, I think it should heal up pretty quickly. Any suggestions on the amount of time I should let it heal before trying to perform lower body work?

Like Sidior said, it's hard to tell. It could be anything from a pull/strain to an inflamed sciatic nerve.

NSAIDS are probably a good idea in any case to help the healing process.
