Thanks man. I'd almost forgotten how much I love front squats; can still squat twice a week and hammer my quads without overworking my lower back.

Big PR on Front Squats, I definitely had 500 in me, probably should have just gone for it instead of 490. Box squats were below parallel, with my feet as wide as I could get them in the rack. Felt really good, might throw these into the regular rotation. Didn't go super heavy, just wanted to get a feel for the movement and focus on sitting back/engaging my hips.

Damn bro, you're killing the bench and front squats!!! Looking forward to seeing you hit a 500 front squat. I'm planning on doing some wide stance box squats my self on my lower accessory day. Mainly to help strengthen up my hips.

Thanks! Yeah that's the main reason I wanted to start doing some wider stance squatting; I really need to continue working on hip strength, always been a huge weakness for me.

Kind of surprised I missed 290 on military seeing as I hit 255 x 4 after, which was a pretty big PR. Incline felt the best it has in a long time. PT I've been seeing says my bicep tendon has said in place since he adjusted it 3 weeks ago so I should be good now. Pain has definitely gone down a lot with pressing movements. Trying to hit the lacrosse ball every night as I still have lots of scar tissue/lesions built up in my cortical brachialis from shit being out of whack for so long.

    2" Deficit Deadlift
    225 x 10
    315 x 5
    405 x 2
    495 x 1 (pop in lower back)

    Sumo Deadlift
    405 x 2
    495 x 1
    525 x 9

    Bent Over Row Machine
    90 x 10
    215 x 10
    180 x 12
    180 x 10

    DB Preacher Curls
    25 x 10
    35 x 5
    40 x 8
    40 x 8
    30 x 10

Well the plan was to do some heavy singles with conventional stance deficit deads, felt great warming up until I hit 495; felt a pop in my lower back, kind of up higher where the obliques tie in. Same area that's been bugging me for the past couple weeks, so something is definitely tweaked. Sumo didn't feel too bad so I still got some decent work in.

Lower back was pretty tight today, threw my form off on low bar squats. I think that was a double PR, still not the greatest considering I was using wraps. High bar felt great, go figure.

I've committed to a UPA meet in November. They allow knee wraps in their raw division so I need to start working with wraps more. My original goal for my next meet was 1725, but now that I'll be using wraps I have my eye on Ernie Lillibridge's 220 raw record of 1747. If I can get my squat up in the 625 - 650 range I should have a good shot at it.
