    I always do rack-pulls just below the knee but these were a little lower than usual and I definitely noticed a difference; very slow off the pins, really hard to get any momentum from that position. Pretty happy overall, form was spot on, lower back felt great.

    Squats felt pretty good, stance was as wide as I could go in the rack, box was well below parallel. Always amazes me how touch squatting to a real low box is, was pretty beat after only a few sets.

    Energy wasn't the greatest today; much needed refeed/cheat meal tomorrow. I think I've changed my mind about the meet in November; I'm getting pretty close to 200 lbs again when depleted, if I can stay below 210 I will definitely shoot for 198's. I'm easily the leanest I've ever been right now, probably somewhere around 8% bf. Going to continue cutting for another month and see where I end up. I really want to compete at 198 one more time and shit on some National Records. I only missed it by 2 pounds last meet and I really didn't cut water properly like I usually do so it is definitely doable. I'd just rather come in shredded than have to cut a bunch of weight in the last couple days.

    I think I'm going to impliment curls on some leg days - similar to what you are doing. It seems like a smart idea, for now. Solid work sumo. and +1 to what Brian said about the drop set, especially when you had some concerns about your hip. What are you weighing these days?
