You won't be disappointed. I've noticed a big difference since adding them in regularly.

Wasn't really planning on going for a 1 rep max on squats but I felt pretty good warming up. Going to be pulling tomorrow so tried out hack squats for the first time ever in an attempt to murder my quads without using much lower back. Kind of liked them to be honest, much better than leg press IMO.

Grats on the squat PR, moving some huge weights. I too prefer hack squats to leg press.

In preparation for my mini vacation I decided to try and destroy my posterior chain today. Most I've ever pulled without a belt, besides the fact that it was from a deficit. Definitely had a little more in the tank as well. This is a great sign as I've barely pulled conventional at all these past 3 months yet my back feels stronger than ever.

I usually do incline bench after heavy military press or db press so this was the first time in quite a while I've been fresh when hitting it; holy shit what a difference. Felt strong as shit, was not expecting to put up those kind of numbers.

    Thanks all!

Visited my sister in North Carolina this last weekend so I took a few days off from my diet. Thursday night before I left I was 210 lbs. When I got back last night I weighed 221 lbs. I was say that is a successful vacation, lol.

Lower back has been tight all day, had an insane pump after my warm-up sets with squats. I really wanted to go heavy and take advantage of the bloat from vacation but the lower back pump was just too much. Still got some decent work in but every set felt like hell.

Thought maybe last week was a fluke on incline but apparently not, very solid session today. Shoulders were toast after benching, 195 felt heavy as hell on military. I think from now on I'm going to have to pick either heavy military or heavy incline each week, my shoulders just can't do both in the same day.

Form wasn't the best on 590 deficit, but my back felt great so I can't complain. Going to start doing the sumos as accessory work for my hips, stance was basically as wide as I could go without crushing my toes, really focusing on keeping my ass down and driving my hips.

Your sumo stance is pretty narrow :P. Awesome deficit pull, a bit of rounding but looked really strong.

Thanks Kevin. My conventional form isn't the best to begin with so I didn't think that pull was too bad considering the deficit.

Felt great today, which is awesome considering my weight is already back down to 210. Yes, I dropped from 221 on Monday night to 210 Saturday morning.... lol.

I'm currently 10 weeks out from Relentless Detroit. I refuse to miss 198 again like last time, so my plan is to continue slowly cutting until I'm about 205 morning weight. 5 pounds in 10 weeks shouldn't be a problem, even considering how lean I already am.
