    I have a meet in 11 days so I'll be lowering frequency and intensity after tomorrow's heavy squat session. I usually lift 6 days a week, but I'll cut out two days from this week and I'll only go in once or twice early next week to get some real light sessions in. I don't like taking a full week off before a meet. I feel like some 'pump' training is great to keep things fresh and help with recovery.

    Wasn't really expecting anything special today, just wanted to get as much work in as possible as this was my last heavy session before the meet. Actually surprised squats felt as decent as they did consider how fatigued I am. Lower back was super tight but I still managed to get some pulling in, even though it felt like hell.

    Light legs, biceps, and abs today. Did a few sets with 225 on squats just to get some blood flowing to any muscles not directly targeted with accessory work after.

    Body weight is around 208 - 210 right now. Was up to 213 on Saturday, so I've lost a little bit of bloat already. Hoping to drop 2 - 5 pounds from low carbs + the light depletion workouts today and tomorrow.

    Last meet I was really lazy about water loading beforehand which probably played a part in me missing weight by a couple pounds. Going to make a better effort this time and actually keep track of how much I'm drinking throughout the day.

    First person I saw walking down the hall at the meet site this morning was Brandon Lilly. Should be an exciting meet to say the least.

    Ended up totaling 1700 Raw w/wraps @ 198. Took the UPA 198 Raw Open Deadlift record and Total Record. Pretty sure that also ranks me pretty high on PL watch for 198, somewhere around top 5 - top 10.

    Squats: 565/590/616
    Bench: 425/445/Miss 455
    Deadlift: 615/640/Miss 650

    I will post a write-up in the powerlifting section later. This was an amazing meet to say the least. Donnie Thompson announcing, Brandon Lilly, Brian Schuab, Phil Harrington, and Marshal Johnson among the competitors. 2013 Relentless Detroit ended up raising well over $100,000, which is beyond incredible.
