    405 x 2
    455 x 1

Soooo close to my 500 x 5 goal on deads. Might be able to hit it with a belt on. Planned on repping out 475 for maybe 6 - 8 but the 500 set completely drained me. 5 rep with 475 was a grinder lmao.

Your deadlift's insane, dude! What's the body weight at now? Any new visibilities?

181 after I was done lifting, lol. I feel so ****ing tiny. Granted I'm pretty depleted, so maybe 185 - 190 ish at the most. I really need to keep hammering heavy deads consistently. I make the most progress when I go heavy every week, or every other week at least. I'm gonna try lower rep/higher weight deads every week for maybe a month and see what happens. I know when I hammer heavy singles/doubles on squats every week my numbers fly up.

In total agreement with you on that, it's just better to keep major movements heavy duty.

    Thanks guys.

    Legs

    ATF Squats
    135 x 10
    135 x 10
    315 x 2
    365 x 1
    ~Add Knee Wraps~
    405 x 1
    450 x 1
    460 x miss
    ~Remove Wraps~
    365 x 5

    Leg Curls
    110 x 10
    130 x 10
    150 x 8
    150 x 5
    130 x 8
    110 x 10

Finally hit 450 squat again. I tend to squat a little bit higher on real heavy sets but depth was pretty much hams touching calves on the 450. This is only the second time I've used knee wraps and they weren't super tight so I'm not getting much out of them, I'm hoping with more practice I can hit a 500 squat with just wraps this summer. Had no belt either, lol, so that would probably help.

    Back and Bi's

    Rack Pulls (just above knee)
    405 x 10
    495 x 1
    585 x 1
    635 x 1
    660 x 1
    675 x 1

    Barbell Shrugs
    405 x 12
    455 x 12
    475 x 12
    490 x 12

    Lat Pulldown
    115 x 10
    160 x 5
    205 x 5
    230 x 7

    Barbell Curls
    95 x 5
    135 x 6
    115 x 11

Gonna try doing rack pulls more often, dropping 1 pin each session. Felt good to play with heavy weight again. I dunno what it is with me and rack pulls but if I move the bar about 2 inches from just below my knees to just above I can pull almost 150+ pounds more. I can also pull more off the floor than any pin position below my knee. Keeping shrug weight lower and focusing on higher reps/better form. I tend to get a little sloppy with real heavy shrugs. Lat pulldown numbers will be lower from now on as I'm using a different machine.

Thanks guys. Really pushing myself hard trying to get my strength back.

    Chest and Tri's

    Wide Grip Bench
    135 x 10
    135 x 10
    225 x 5
    275 x 1
    305 x 3
    275 x 7
    255 x 8

    Close Grip Bench
    135 x 10
    185 x 5
    225 x 2

    Tricep Pushdowns

    Tricep Extensions

So I've definitely lost some strength in my triceps, at least when it comes to benching. I'm making great progress with wide grip bench but my close grip is ****ing pathetic. Wrist wraps would definitely help a lot, for whatever reason my wrists just collapse when I use a close grip and that takes away from my strength a ton. Going to order wraps this week and start hammering close grip bench every week.

Doesn't look bad...remember, some are not equipped for close grips where the hands actually touch. I have the same plight, just do 'em close enough to where they hit the triceps more.

I'm going to stop commenting on your strength, so just remember that I hate you.

How many weeks out are you Nick? You gotta be getting close, what's the BW and estimated BF?

Thanks dude. See the edit though, last set was 390 not 490 lol. 490 for 4 raw, I'd **** my pants.

I'm still a couple months out. No clue on bf% but my weight is right around 185.

I've still been lifting, just been too lazy to update my journal lately. I tweaked my back a little on a scary push press miss last week and dumbass me tried doing heavy deads the next day. I don't think I injured anything but obviously the deads did not go well and my back was really sore for a while.

Yesterday, however, I finally hit a 470 raw squat again. I've been making great progress on squats lately and there's no sign of it letting up so I'm hoping I can hit 500 raw within the next month or two. I gotta say it feels pretty damn good hitting weight at 185 that I was lifting at 220-230 lbs.

No clue what my bf% is but I'm still getting leaner, albeit it extremely slowly. When I look my best and I'm not carrying much water I see mid-ab veins and long veins running through my obliques. I've been kind of lazy lately and am eating pretty much whatever I want on refeeds so I'm sure I go backwards a little bit for a day or two due to the fat intake along with the carbs.

**** I thought you died. Dude, I just got over a 2 month injury from a overhead press. Not fun. Hope yours isn't as serious. Your squat is just ridiculous! No way I'm even squatting 3 raw. 500 would just be sick! Glad to hear you're continuing to get leaner. Any dates thrown out there yet with regards to competing?

Damn man, 2 months is rough. What happened? I was going behind the neck OHP and missed my traps/shoulders bringing 290 back down. The bar went about half way down my back until it hit the safety bars. Thank god I had the safety bars set high because I think I could have literally broken both my arms/****ed up my elbows.

Originally I planned on competing June 25th. There is another show in July I was thinking about, might skip the one in June and give myself another month to get ready. The fat loss has slowed down tremendously, I'm to the point now where I should really find somebody to coach me for these last few weeks since I really don't know what I'm doing.

My sternum cracked during a strict overhead press. Never thought anything of it initially, but it always hurt when stretching out my chest which also meant during benching and dips. That pain has finally gone away, though. Yours sounded pretty close to a couple of dislocations! Luckily there were safety spotters there.

You could speak with Unholy about dieting to sub 5% while keeping full, etc. He was trained by Phil Hernon online. Just a thought that wouldn't cost you anything. Paul's pretty helpful if you send him a PM.

Unless he had multiple coaches that I'm unaware of, paul was coached by alberto nunez from 9 weeks out and on

Interesting. He was also coached by Phil Hernon. I wonder how that went because he started off with him...
