Glutes are probably a big weakness of yours if your lockout is a weak point. If you're strong/fast off the floor I wouldn't worry about deficit pulls. I would keep training your lockout and you should make progress by doing that. Oh, and if someone dare steals your phone infront of you, just do a lat spread, they should hand it back over without hesitation.

Lol. My cobra like spread will strike anybody dead instantly.

    Chest and Tris

    Bench
    135 x 15
    135 x 15
    225 x 5
    275 x 2
    315 x 1
    335 x 1
    355 x 1
    375 x 1
    385 x miss

    Cable Triceps Extensions
    150 x 10
    180 x 5
    200 x 5
    220 x 5

    Cable Push-downs
    170 x 10
    200 x 5
    220 x 5
    230 x 5
    180 x 10

Well, I finally broke my old bench PR. 355 didn't feel as easy as I wanted so being the pussy that I am I went for 375 instead of 380 for my first max attempt. 375 felt real solid, and being the idiot that I am (lol) I went for 385 instead of 380. I probably could hit the 385 if I warmed up and jumped straight to it. Watching the video I can see I lost my groove and the bar traveled forward quite a bit.

My training partner currently holds the 198lb AAPF raw bench reocrd(402.3lbs). He walks around 200+ if you put on some weight there's not telling what you could do. I better tell him to watch out!

Yeah I dunno, it was close. My spotter is usually real good and waits for my command but I think the heavy weight made him nervous and ended up grabbing it before I told him to. Kinda doubt I would have gotten it anyways, bar was too far out of my groove.

Definitely, my thoughts exactly. I don't blame the spotter though, doesn't look like he could curl 100 lbs. You're a freak for benching double your body weight!

Was alone today so kept the weight light. Pretty happy with 405 x 6 with no belt. Probably have 8 or 9 in me with a belt on.

You have freak strength...have you ever considered moving up weight classes? Imagine what youd be like as a lean 230 pounder. Holy **** that would be cool.

Next time make sure your camera gets a better view of that girl grabbing the ball before your bench. Looks like there is potential there, but hard to tell.

Keep the bar in your groove and your crush that 385, no doubt.

No idea why but the muscle that's been bothering me lately in my armpit really bugs me on close-grip. 305 was seriously painful and I had to stop there. Was planning on maxing out.

Right pec/shoulder/armpit was really bugging me today so I kept the weight light-ish. Still ended up with a 2 rep PR with 315 even though it felt like **** the entire time. Gonna try foam rolling twice a day + heat, and I'm looking into getting some deep tissue messages covered by my insurance. I really gotta get this pain taken care of, really don't wanna have to slow down with the progress I've been making lately.

Huge numbers as always Nick. Do you ever do BB hip thrusts? I've recently just started them and am pretty stoked to work with them in the future. I'm thinking they'll really benefit me since I lack any posterior power or stability. Hopefully they'll get my deadlift up in the future so I can get some SE's like you have too.

Is belted considered raw? I honestly don't know?
