Haha, not the C word dude. I run out of gas deep in to cycles too, it sucks bad, but always enjoy carb ups and having crazy energy. I just carbed up, and will spend 2 hours at least all this week in the gym during workouts, will be awesome. Doing some solid work bro.

I'm actually interested in doing some research regarding glycogen levels and muscle output. I have a theory that low glycogen levels sends play a role in strength levels, probably something to do with signaling your CNS to cut back on max output to conserve energy. I always feel stronger when I'm full/carbed up, when in theory the only thing glycogen levels 'should' affect is endurance.

Haven't gone real heavy in a while, just wanted to handle some weight and test my strength. 375 wasn't a max, although it was close. Fully carbed up I might be able to hit 385, wide grip, no arch.

Tricep is feeling a lot better, today was the first time in months I've been able to do extensions without any pain.

Started studying for the NASM PT exam this week. I don't have a job at the moment so I can devote as much time as I want to studying; hoping to take the test within a couple weeks. Probably going to take a break from powerlifting for quite a while. Going to continue with my diet for the rest of the summer and possibly do a natty bodybuilding show this fall. I'm definitely still getting leaner each week, just taking things nice and slow, we'll see how I look in another month or two. Weight is still hovering around 192 - 198 and my strength has been great so I'd say things have been going well so far.

    That back picture is insane.

400 has to be close man.

Lemme know how that PT test goes. it's something I may or may not be interested in the future.

Thanks man. I should hit 400 soon as I continue to gain strength in my triceps. Honestly no idea what my max would be with an arch/comp grip right now.

Here's a couple shots I took this morning, still trying to work on the side tri pose. Weight was 193. I'll try to post update pics more often, it seems like the leaner I get the faster things change. I'm finally starting to lose that annoying fat around my biceps, really excited to see what my front and back double bi shots look like once I get down to 6 - 8%.

I don't know why but I always feel like you could show off way more Tri in that side tri.

Well it was long overdue but I finally got my 500 pound squat. I still had a little in the tank but I don't like pushing it to the absolute limit when I'm dieting like this. I did have knee wraps on, no belt however. I'm curious how close I'd be to 550 with a belt and somebody else putting the wraps on for me. I put them on fairly snug but not nearly as tight as they could be.

Ah in the thumb, eh? Closest I've ever been was Bay City, and that place was a hole. Glad I passed though to go up north snowboarding.

Do you just use wraps and no belt? Or do you use both on squats? Congrats on the 500, that's huge man, awesome work.

The gym I've been training at isn't very big/is lacking in equipment so we have to do seated pressing and incline/decline bench in the squat rack. Pressing felt really awkward today and as a result I can't move the same weight that I'm used to. I have a great training partner right now which helps, but I can't wait to move and find a gym with more equipment. I've already maxed out the cable machine on certain movements as well which sucks because I really hate not being able to progress in weight.

Good luck with your plans, and where you end up moving to...too bad your present gym is so limited.
