The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Its no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

that's the problem, man up and get a larger pin... If you're putting 2-3ccs in at a time then yes, you want to take a good amount of time so the oil doesn't build up and cause an abscess.. since you're only going 1ml at a time, so long as you change up your injection sites you should be good..

    my thoughts on the subject

I guess I'm not following you Jake, why would a smaller pin be a problem? I thought the smaller the pin the better as far as forming scar tissue and stuff.

How often would you suggest hitting a site? I was thinking about rotating through 6 sites, is that enough for 2 injections a week?

I guess that's just personal preference.. I'm impatient and it's annoying to me. I've pinned every week, once a week for the last 2 years. I use a 22.5g pin. They originally gave me a 25g pin but I would spend half my evening trying to draw it and shoot it so I went with a larger one.

    I typically rotate.

left quad, left glute, left delt, right quad, right glute, right delt... You can do other sites if you really want like lats and traps, but again, thats all preference.

Honestly, the acceptable surface area for injections in the quad alone is about three inches by six inches- plenty of room.

No reason to take that long to inject- the oil going in causes minimum trauma. Use a 22 or 23, try to warm up the oil beforehand (a hairdryer on the glass vial for about a minute usually does the trick... warming it up to about 100 degrees is actually a GOOD thing), and you shouldn't have any problems.

I'd avoid delts. Small muscle, too much vascularity (pharmacokinetics are totally different- the same depot that would take a week or two to dissipate in the glute could take two days in the delt).

    Just my $0.01.

Thanks guys. I have been running hot water over the vial before drawing and it does help quite a bit.

Jake I use a 20 gauge to draw and then swap on a fresh 25 before injecting.

I get my pins from the pharmacy since I have a prescription, but I get 22.5g x1.5" leng x3cc. I draw and shoot with the same one. Again, I have to do it for health reasons rather than extra curricular so it's not near as exciting, lol. Because of that I just want it to be done as soon as possible.

Felt alright today, had more than 385 in me but something in my shoulder just didn't feel right which always makes me nervous.

I'm only on my second week and injections are so much less painful now. First time I pinned my right quad I could barely walk for 5 days; did my left quad last night and it already feels pretty good today.

Progress is coming alonge extremely well. I haven't been here in a while, but I see a change has occurred with regards to assistance.

I wouldn't be surprised 1 bit if you respond above the normal compared to others.

Excited to see what type of progress you can make.

Finally some progress on squats, nothing like hitting your previous max for 2. Can't wait for my damn belt to get here, my back gets pretty pissed with 500+.

Weight is 209 with gym clothes on. I swear I haven't put an ounce of fat on. I'm holding a little water but really not much bloat at all. Gonna hold off on using adex for now, might throw it in a week or two before the meet to help shed a little water.
