Huge PR on Military press. Whatever I've been doing lately, it's working. I really haven't changed my diet/caloric intake much in months. I'm still hovering around 200 pounds and my body fat continues to drop ever so slowly.

Big squat PR. I can tell my body has adjusted to squatting fairly heavy twice a week. My lower back was fried today but my legs felt strong as hell.

450 was so damn close, spotter had to help just a little bit before lockout. 440 flew off my chest, probably would have had 450 if I'd gone right for it first. Kinda surprised I hit a PR today, had a cold for the past couple days, energy was shit.

That's the most I've squatted raw without wraps since my last meet, and I'm 10+ pounds lighter as well. Definitely more in the tank, 550 was slow coming out of the hole but once I got about half way up I just snapped right into lockout. Can REALLY tell all the hip work and posterior chain work has paid off. My form is soooooo much better than it used to be.

Slowest max attempt press ever. Really thought I was gonna pull something in my back, or pass out.

Had a guy ask me when my show was today. I guess I'm getting fairly lean.

No doubt, you always stay real lean and real strong, at the same time.

Pretty beat up from this past week but still managed a PR on high bar squat. Finally have a meet picked out for sure: APF Michigan States March 16th. I have 8 full weeks of training before the week off before the meet, plan is to put on a solid 5 pounds the first 4 weeks and then trim back just a little to stay within range of 198. I'd like to be about 210 fully carbed/hydrated a week out from the meet.

Good deal on the upcoming meet in mid March, good luck with that.

Impressive new Squats PR and deads vid...throwing huge weights around across the board!

Felt strong as shit warming up, then I get a big ass cramp/knot in my left pec on about rep 5 of 375. Stretched it out as much as I could and sat around for a good 10 minutes and it didn't feel quite as bad for the close grip set. I get this every once in a while and I really don't know what it is. It's not a tear. It's like my pec just knots up randomly and then it'll go away a couple days later.

Wasn't pretty, but that's a 10 lb PR on deads. It really didn't feel that bad in all honesty, it's just been so damn long since I've pulled a heavy single from the ground. Thought about adding another 5 or 10 pounds but decided to just take the PR and move on. With 8 weeks to go I'm pretty confident I'll hit at least 650 at the meet.

For sure. Deadlift seems so much lighter at meets all the time. Hope it isn't because they are using lighter weights!

For sure, a lot of it has to do with the adrenaline from being up there in front of a crowd. I think I've hit PR's on at least 2 out of the big 3 almost every meet I've done. Pulling with a legit deadlift bar helps a lot too. I get a good 10 - 15 pounds on my max when I use one.
