My plan for now is to do a real slow clean bulk up to about 225-230. From there I'll probably cut back down to 10% bf or so and try to hover around the low 220's until my next meet. Going to change up my training a little bit as well. No more squatting heavy and pulling heavy in the same week. Next couple months will be focused on bringing up weak points, primarily my hams and glutes. Also going to continue working exclusively on my sumo deads for most of the spring/summer.

Going to keep bench training the same; heavy twice a week, alternating grip or bench angle each workout. If I can stay healthy I believe a 500 bench is very possible before the end of the year.

I guess I'll let you know in a few months. Going to try and bring my sumo max up to par with my conventional.

As a whole I love sumo, so much easier on my lower back. Anything under about 575 and I can hit more reps with sumo as well, however my top-end strength drops off pretty fast as my ham and glute strength is lacking.

Well my goal for this summer was to bring my Sumo Max up to Par with my conventional. Looks like I need a new goal, lol. 635 felt pretty awesome and so much easier on my back than when I pulled it conventional. I have a feeling I'll be pulling sumo next meet, only thing I'm worried about is grip, as my hand placement is right where there's no gnarling.
