    Something in my left elbow has been hurting like a bitch when I do certain movements such as curls. It's not my bicep, not really sure if it's a muscle in my forearm or a tendon close to my elbow. Had to cut BB curls short because it hurt too much.

    inside of your elbow or outside?

    i used to have an issue with the inside of my elbow when curling, i think they called it golfers elbow. I wore an elbow sleeve (or in my case a knee sleeve) for a few weeks while and the pain went away.

    Yeah inside. I foam rolled the shit out of it last night, I think it's a combination of my tricep and forearm, have some really tender spots on both right up close to my elbow. I use elbow sleeves all the time and it does help quite a bit.

    Haven't pulled from the floor in a long time, wanted to test my max for the meet coming up in a couple weeks. Went about how I expected to be honest. Lockout with 565 was pretty nasty, but I'm happy how it felt coming off the floor. Wearing a good belt makes a huge difference for me, especially since I pull with an arched back.

    I maxed last week at 655, it affected the entire weeks worth of training. Heavy pulls are killer. What are you looking for @ the meet?

    Only thing I care about is breaking the AAPF raw junior bench record, it's currently 369 @ 198. Goal for total is 1475.

    Had a feeling today was gonna be bad when I woke up. Felt like a flat little bitch, weight was 188. Such an idiot, should have taken a break from my diet and eaten more carbs this week seeing as I was testing my maxes.

    Pulled something on my left side right where the lat ties in with the shoulder/tricep during my warm-ups. Tried to ignore it, 375 felt terrible. I doubt it's a tear or anything major but it's pretty damn sore right now. Couldn't feel it at all switching to wide grip; close grip felt horrible. Could feel it doing pushdowns as well. Probably not doing the meet now. Fucking awesome.

    when is the meet?

    put up a big squat #, take a token 315-350ish bench, put a big deadlift #.. not an issue and certainly not as big of a deal as a torn/injured leg muscle..

    eat some food, ice the shit out of it and rest. after 2-3 days do some super light high rep pushdowns or something to flush blood in to get it to heal faster..

    November 19th, so 2 weeks away. Gonna try to get a good nights sleep and see what my squat is tomorrow. I'll still do it if I feel I have a good shot at 500+.

    Whatever I pulled is already feeling a lot better, pretty sure now it's my lat. Tender to the touch, but it doesn't ache.

    if it's the lat.. stretch and foam roll the shit out of it. then get a mini band and do some high rep one arm pulldowns

    Squats were terrible yesterday. Lower back started to tighten up during warm-ups and hurt like hell for the rest of the workout.

    Meet has 24 hour weigh ins so I think I'm gonna try to make 181 lol. Yesterday morning I was just below 187. Figuring if I can cut another pound or so of fat and come in fully depleted I can easily lose the rest through water manipulation.

    Nooo! Don't cut anymore fat you will lose strength for sure. You can lose that all through water manipulation. Do that or start eating your ass off and do 198.
