just be very careful. AAS grows your muscle tissue much faster than connective tissue. You need to cycle your training between heavy and volume. At the very least, throw high volume/high rep assistance work in there to directly hit the connective tissues.

    Good work with 405. I'm jealous... I'm 295lbs benching 405 and you're 215lbs benching 405.. *sigh*

535 felt like a billion pounds? looooool, did you see the pic of 675 reverse band squat from a couple months ago on my FB wall? THAT felt like a trillion pounds!!! lmao

Thanks guys. I've been heating my pec every night. There's really no pain anymore, just a little tightness when I stretch it.

I feel I look the same, just 20+ pounds heavier, lol. My friends said they could see a difference after the first few weeks. Biggest thing I notice is how all my shirts fit now. Def. put a lot of mass on my arms/chest/shoulders.

Went to a chiropractor today, he deals with a lot of athletes and even power lifters. He pretty much immediately figured I had tight psoas and hips after describing my symptoms. Took some x-rays to see how my back looked and then did a quick stretching session to evaluate what needs to be worked on. My hips, psoas, glutes, and hams were all really tight. I've been doing some stretches on my own for a while now but it was pretty obvious even after a quick 15 minute session this is going to help a ton. I always knew what the psoas was but I never really thought about it when stretching. When he started to hit it, it felt like a rubber band about to snap.

I think it will help big time. Had a follow up appointment yesterday. X-rays showed an anterior pelvic tilt. He said it's not very bad, but just enough to cause a lot of the symptoms I've been having. I love this guy already, instead of telling me to not lift or do certain exercises, he says I should be able to notice a slight difference in strength with squats and deads after just a few sessions.

Bench still felt terrible, even with 225. I really think it's a tendon now. There is no sore spot in my pec or delt, and there's no pain no matter how much I stretch in all directions. I'm just hoping it heals enough so I can bear it next weekend. I really don't want to drop the meet now. If worse comes to worse I'll have to waive off my bench attempts.

I also had food poisoning these last 3 days. Tried to eat as much as I could but it's sucked ass. Weight was down to 210 today. Maybe it's a sign from God that I should quit powerlifting lol. Why all this fucking bullshit now. I'm really getting sick of having the worst possible luck when it comes to injuries/sickness.

Nothing crazy, tried to keep things easy with shoulder work, don't want to aggravate whatever's been buggin my left side. Can tell the adex is starting to work, looked epic today, bloat has definitely gone down.

Weight back up to about 215 with gym clothes on. Last gym session before the meet. Time to rest up and hope for the best on Saturday.

Got home from the meet a couple hours ago. Gotta say this was my best performance by far.

    Squat
    450 - smoke
    500 - easy
535 - felt great, though slow

    Bench
    350 - joke
    390 - felt good
405 - miss, but not by much

    Deads
550 - miss, lulz. Was just a mental error, I bobbled with the weight for some reason right off the floor
    600 - felt great
    625 - epic grinder

Weighed in at 210 with shorts and t-shirt on. Total was 1550 raw, 220 weight class, Junior. This qualifies me for RUM, and I was 1 mother fucking pound away from Raw Elite. Yes, 1 pound. Had no idea what elite was until I checked a few minutes ago, if I'd known I would have gone for it obviously.
