    Today was the first time I'd back squatted in over a month due to a nagging lower back issue. Definitely was not expecting to hit a wrapless PR. 570 was slow but it felt really good on my back and my form felt better than it ever has. I have no doubt I'll be hitting 600 without wraps relatively soon.

    Despite my bicep tendon bothering me again, I feel like I'm getting stronger every week. Still haven't made up my mind if I'm going to give 198 a shot or not. I've been dieting for 6 weeks and have dropped about 8 pounds down to 225. Still have 7 weeks until the meet, if I can get down under 220 I will give the water cut a shot.

    Originally I wanted 1800+ @ 198 but I forgot APF doesn't have a raw w/ wraps division, so maybe something like 1750 @ 198 without wraps. I'm going to continue prepping for the meet but there's a good chance I may be moving for a job before and won't be competing.
