    haha me too!
Not as cheap as Decathlon buy it for though! Decathlon pays around 9 per 20kg plate! Which is nuts! They sell for 20 per 20kg plate.

Pretty much all weight is about 50 cents a pound, in any store in the U.S. Really, most of what I see is .49 per pound.

but I'm glad you got so excited! LOL

I was mainly excited because I think we get ripped off so bad over here in the Uk paying £0.50 per lb (works out about $1 per lb in the US)

Even $0.50 a pound is expensive. Look for used equipment or sales.

    Gaz and Goodwinner -

Argos do pretty decent prices for the UK. And they do cheap delivery aswell. I think i paid £55 for 60kg of weights and that included delivery!!

There about the cheapest i've found but there only for standard bars and not olympic style.

I would buy weights at Argos, but at Tesco i wouldnt dream of it they would probably fall apart/cause serious injury within a year. My friend got a bike from there and now all the parts need replacing a MONTH on. Argos is cheap and i trust it, but Tesco........tuttut

I work at fitness depot in Canada (the largest retailer of exercise equipment at guaranteed lowest prices in North America). Here right now actually. We sell olympic and regular for 38cents a lb. I buy them at cost for about 20 cents! Now that's a bargain!

Check the local listings where people put up stuff for sale. People are always selling weight plates. I'm working on getting a pair of 100lb plates right now and I'm getting both for about $25.

This is your best bet. I just started working at fitness depot and I'm throwing the towel in with commercial gyms. Im making myself a home gym.

My training partner and I are collecting the following:
    Power rack
    Bench (flat, incline, upright)
    Plates
    Olympic bar
    V grip (for t-bar rows)
    EZ curl bar
    Dumbbell bars
    Chin/Dip station
    Dip station
    Weight stand
    Mat
    Chalk

My buddy owns Apex Glass so he'll install all the mirrors as well...lol this seems too good to be true and I can't wait for this! This way I won't have to listen to Celine Dion and deal with idiots around me.

Anything equipment I'm missing that you can come up with?
