Hi, I hear people talking about 35ib or 45ib weights for sit ups etc, where do you get these / what are these?
I am probably being stupid, so please forgive the newbie (me) :P
Take a rope, hook it up to a pulldown stack, and crunch away.
put a dumbell behind your head or on your chest.
I set a dumbbell on its end on my upper chest when I do 'em. Plate is too big across.
i use a dumbell on a swiss ball, i find it works best for me. make sure you get the balance down :o)
Dumbell behind the head is what people suggested to me and it seems to be working well, a hell of a lot harder than across the chest which is good. Cant comment on how well it works though since I just started doing it.
Do them on a decline bench for even more of a challenge. I do mine while holding a dumbell.
