i cant do dips because i broke my radius and cant take the weight yet. Also cant do dips because of my winged scapula heard it isnt the best of excersises for it.
Bench dips are hard on my shoulders. I much prefer the traditional way.

and i wish i had one of those awsome assisted dip/chin/pullup machines.
so do i just wait until my chest builds up enough to let me do dips? or is there a substitute for dips that i can do until i get stronger?

Feet on the floor, arms on a bench. Start there.
Do dip negatives. That means doing the lowering part of the dip slowly to help build the mucles. That should work you towards a full dip.Originally Posted by teaturtle
