The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Halloween!!

It might be a bit early with this thread, but what the hell. Halloween is 20 days away and (as much as I have hated the holiday) is always a good time--what with the costumes and drinking at parties and whatnot.

What are you all doing for Halloween (if you already know)? A friend of mine is throwing a big party and I'm going as an emo kid.

    Do share!

going to a costume party as bob barker, my gf's being a barker's beauty. She still hasn't decided on carrying around a toaster or a kettle.

I thought we should go as a doctor/nurse combo, that way we can keep the outfit for later. but she said too many people go as doctors and nurses .

    Speaking of tandem costumes...

Two of my friends are going as an ipod commercial--one will be all black and dancing while the other will be a white ipod and somehow be attached to the dancer.

Also, two other friends are going as Indiana Jones and a boulder. That's more or less self-explanitory.

Anyone else?? Keep em coming. "Emo kid" is beginning to sound like a worse idea to me the more I think about it.

I'm that messed up dude who comes up with the shocking costumes. Last year I went to this party with a white labcoat and a bloody coathanger. I told people I was an illegal abortion doctor. Good cheap costume. That's not nearly as bad as what my buddy wore a while back. He bought a steering wheel at this junkyard for like 2 bucks, and cut it apart so his head would fit inside it. He put a wig on and some blood and told people he was Princess Di! That was awful

my roomate last year dressed up as a priest. Then bought a decent sized little boy doll and tied it around his waist hiding the rope under his robe. so he was pretty much a preist gettin head for a little boy. pretty f'ed up but funny as hell.

A great tandem costume for all you Canadians out there: Trailer Park Boys. Last year I saw four guys as Ricky, Julian, Bubbles and Randy and they fit the characters to a T.

Last year, I went as Hugh Hefner (bought a crappy Salvation Army robe, cheap cigar, and put baby powder in my hair to make it white) and my girlfriend dressed as a playboy bunny.

I'm dressing in viking battle gear, getting lit off my ass, and playing a show with my newly reformed band on that Saturday.
