    Road to triple body weight deadlift!

    Me and latty are having a little comp to see who gets there first. Any one else that wants in is welcome.
    Rules are that you must be weighed the day of the lift and you can only use chalk,belt to do the lift.
    Right now latty is at 425ish deadlift @155 and im at about 490-500dead @185bodyweight.
    Winner gets......?? dunno yet. Anyone wanna make some donations?

    Since I will be training for a bench/dead meet, I figure this will be some extra motivation to get my dead to sore. This isn't something we are expecting to happen overnight, we have a lot of work ahead of us.

    Hmmmmm its tempting. My deadlift is 405@225 right now. I don't think I'll even come close by the deadline whenever that is.

    Seeing as I did more than double after only a month of deadlifting, I'm in.

    Is there some kinda formula for strength to bodyweight? Thought something like that was floating around a while back. Just wondering as I know that you can't just say that if someone is double your weight they should lift twice as much. I know strength and bodyweight don't increase equally, etc.

    I still think that these guys who only need to reach 190 to look big and who have a 6" ROM in the deadlift have an unfair advantage.

    And I'm gonna whine about it, if you don't mind.

    I don't think there is any formula, if there is one. It isn't going to be accurate.

    can i join going for 1.5 x bodyweight?

    I`m 202 lbs now, never done maxes but my dead is at like 194 lbs for 10 reps.... according to this 1 rm calc thingy my max is now
    259... although i dont see myself pulling that.

    Also the fact that back is still kinda mmm mmm i dont wanna hit it too hard yet.... ill see
