    Good chance.

I so called that ending months ago. I guess that's not a bad thing but I was hoping for something different. Ah well.

it's worth it if you don't have time to watch multiple shows

being able to watch shows whenever you want on a large television instead of a computer screen...it really isn't that expensive

I thought it was good, not great. Then again, I don't care for all of the storylines....I could go without seeing Nikki, DL, and Micah ever again. I've never met anyone who gives 2 rips about them anyway. Whatever.....

I liked the ending, I thought it worked. Ready for next season.

What was with the thing at the end? Looks like the next season may be pretty interesting as well...

My computer screen happens to be larger than my TV by a few inches though, so torrents win for me. :P

Yeah, my computer screen is a lot larger than my TV.

As for Heroes, glad to see Nikki and DL finally used their powers. Only took 24 episodes.

So how come Peter never absorbed Nathan's flying ability? He could have flown himself into space to detonate. Or they could have just shot him and he would have healed. Seemed like a cop-out way to kill Nathan out/reveal that he is good afterall.

He said himself.. he couldn't do it. He was so focused on trying to control it he couldn't do anything else.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. This series has a knack for making plot holes and using cliches. I wouldn't have watched the finale if it weren't for the other 22 episodes that I had already spent hours upon hour of my life watching.

Whatever though, I'm glad at least some good people died. Sylar getting away? That was weak. And no I don't get what the deal is with the eclipse at the end.

Let's hope Lost is better (who are we kidding, it will also be mediocre at best).

    not really a plot hole...

The only real annoying part of Nathan flying Peter up to explode is that unless it DOES kill both (I'm hoping, but with Sylar apparantly still alive (yes, very weak) Peter is still needed) it was all for nothing. He'll still have Ted's power and unless blowing up somehow gave him control over it he'll STILL be a menace.

Plus, nuclear Sylar is still about and able to blow the city up from the sewers whenever he wants.

All three bombs *needed* to die in order to resolve the exploding city plot, and it looks like only one of them, poor Ted, did for sure.

Yeah, agreed - if next season is another exploding man plot, I'm done with Heroes.

Question - how does Sylar regenerate? He's fallen off a building (in Texas while trying to get Claire) and then he gets stabbed with a sword through the chest but he always manages to get away somehow. I thought he explicitly *couldn't* regenerate? Ahhh, annoying.

I did think it was sweet when Peter went back and talked to that Charles guy. However, my girlfriend was watching the show with me and was *quite* disappointed that it's so reminiscent of X-Men. Overlapping powers aside, Molly finds "special people" just like Cerebro and that's a central plot point. Lame. Also, maybe as a neat tongue-in-cheek nod to the X-Men, Peter works for Charles, another man in a wheelchair.

Oh, one final thing - lol @ Mohinder running up to DL and trying to save him. I guess during his PhD program in genetics they taught him emergency-room surgical techniques.

Don't forget Mohinder running up to "help" Parkman when he was wounded, too. It's funny how all of a sudden the PhD turned into a combat medic.

At the end it showed a bloody trail to a manhole cover.

But there were no handprints, so it's POSSIBLE that someone else dragged Sylar's corpse there. Maybe that super-bad Molly mentioned. Maybe the invisible hobo guy. I'm hoping someone dragged his corpse and that he didn't live, but I know comic books. No body = no death (this goes for Peter and Nathan too).

Sylar is a pretty tough guy, it seems. Survived being hit by a parking meter wielded like it weighed nothing by Nikki, survived beind pounded on by Peter with the 'super strength' sound they use for a half-assed special effect in the show, and perhaps being run through the solar plexus by a katana.

    thought this was interesting:

In the epilogue, as everyone mourns the loss of the Petrelli brothers and takes the wounded away, Sylar vanishes, a bloody trail leading from where he laid to an open manhole cover. A cockroach is seen crawling on the manhole, echoing an earlier scene in "The Fix" where a cockroach was seen crawling near Sylar's seemingly dead body shortly before he resurrected.

I had completely forgotten about the cockroach in the other episode

Ah, that's right. I knew we had seen that roach somewhere in another episode. So I guess we have our new villain!

Well, no, I'd try to help, too, but didn't Mohinder also say something to the effect of "I'm a doctor, I have to save this man!"

I think the only thing that would have made that statement more implausible is if he were a PhD in Comparative Literature and said that he was a doctor and needed to help that man.
