Several comic book related sites have people being dissappointed that Peter is so 'powerful'. The same people who worship the ground that Hiro, who can STOP TIME, walks on. I guess it's ok to be powerful only if you're well liked by the fanbase.

Gotta love the variety of ladies in this show.

Simone, Claire, Nikki...there was Eden and that Indian girl (Mohinder's ex), and lastly Hiro's sister. Nice.

Peter is the most powerful, but he is the weakest mentally. He might die before he ever gets to really take hold of his awesome power.

Claire looks pretty good, although her head is enormous.
Indian girl and Hiro's sister were cute.
    Simone looks like an alien.
Nikki would look a lot better if she got some sleep to get rid of her baggy eyes (and some breast implants).
Eden looks just like Summer from the OC.

It's sad that Eden is out of it. In my apartment, no vase of tall glass was safe on a tabletop if she was on.

He could very well die before mastering it, yes. I don't know that he's mentally weak so much as a pansy. I guess those are similar but his power depends on forming an emotional connection with the person he leeched it from so I guess a bit of sensitivity has to come with the territory. Still, you can be empathic and strong willed - so far he's just emotional and whiny.

Ah, yes, the best part about the show... the ladies!

Simone looking like an alien?? I think she's hot as hell personally.

Claire does have a big ol melon head, but she's ridiculously cute.

Claire's biological mom= hot! Pun intended

Nathen's crippled wife is stunning. That black hair and those ice blue eyes kill me everytime.

Eve/Eden whatever her name was had a nice buttocks. I wasn't expecting a skinny looking girl like her to have a gravity defying onion, but she did.

Nikki's body is almost flawless. Face is a little weird.

    Hiro's sister: nothing special.

    Don't really remember Mohinder's chick.

Anyone else think that Nathen is the ultimate player? He's already banged three of the hottest chicks on the show. Best part about it is that when he's done, he just flies away to his next target at mach 2!

I've only watched the last 2 episodes of this show, but it has instantly become "Must See" material for me. No doubt about it.

    Pretty good episode again tonight.

Sylar is getting closer and closer. He's using Mohinder to track down the others with powers...think Mohinder will figure him out?

I hate Sylar. I guess that shows they picked the right actor for the role.

Pretty much. He's an awesome comic book level bad guy. Most shows try and paint things grey these days... no good or evil just people with differing points of view. That's fine, and in fact I prefer shows like that... but because it's rare it's NICE to see a bad guy who is truly a bad guy.

There's nothing redeemable about going around popping heads off and eating brains. No 'anti-hero'. No misunderstanding. He's a crazy mother****er who is going around ripping skulls open for personal power.

If you want a bad guy with fan club potential there's always the primatech faction. Sylar, though... nobody will shed a tear when and if he bites it.

    A few thoughts :
Man, that Haitian guy really nuffed up Claire's mom something fierce.
I was quite bummed when Parkman stole the diamonds.
Any bets on who Linderman is? I'll bet he has a power, too, or is just one of the other characters in the show... maybe Mohinder's dad? Why is it that we never see Mohinder's dad actually die and also never see Linderman's face?

Something brought up at work....sylar gets shot and yet he lives. He falls off a building and lives. He has a hole in his head and yet he lives. It seems to me he already has Claire's power. I'm dying to find out who lindeman is.

That one is partly answered in the online comic, which shows him using telekinisis to pull the bullets out of what look like light flesh wounds. In fact, he's bitching about not having Claire's power when doing so (despite the fact it's been shown that she, too, has to remove objects from the wound tract before it heals over).

Speculation is that he's either slowing the bullets dramatically with his power or that bullets don't have the ability to punch through a human body. Either or. And his telekinisis lets him hover/fly, though nowhere near as fast as Nathan.

Nice, that's what I was thinking he did. Or somehow moves the bullets out of the way.

I'm thinking maybe Claire is immortal or something. She has more than just wound healing.

    Yeah, what the hell?

Great episode, though. Not too sappy, not too slow. I love the pacing of this show. If this were "Lost", it would take them until the end of the season to go interview Claire's dad. Now it looks like they're be raiding his house & doing it next week. Awesome stuff. I could watch this show for 3 hours straight.

I'm assuming everyone noticed that Stan Lee was driving the bus that Hiro boarded.
