    I would personally only do the Hammer curl.
    5'7 425 lbs. 85% bodyfat Need to gain 20-40 lbs.

    I do ~3 sets every 4 workouts and they are usually hammers, sometimes straight bar curls. I prefer hammers because they work my grip too.

    With hammer curls you should be able to curl more weight then other variations.

    I usually do hammer curls, but very rarely.

    both, neither, alternating each week. It doesn't matter that much.

    I superset them. Heavier on the hammers.

    Hammers create a fuller arm, curls concentrate the bicep.

    I thought that hammer curls worked mainly your tricep, and regular curls work your bicep. Maybe I'm wrong though. I don't do hammer curls though, so I wouldn't really be an expert on them.

    brachialis

    I've read hammers are good mainly for brachialis development, but I dono just throwin that out there. Just remember, dumbell curls get lots of girls and big arms mean big checks haha jk I remember hogan sayin something like that.

    im on WBB1 so i do barbell curls and hammer curls every friday.

    Alternating dumbells curls are a staple in my workout; as are barbell curls. I always work both into my bicep workouts. Hammer curls a great exercise as well and I always do them everyother workout.

    Absolutely wrong. Don't give out advice with something like that and sound so sure of yourself. A curl is a curl. The main difference is the hammer curl stimulates more of the brachialis and one of the best, if not the best exercise to build that muscle.

    How is what he said absolutely wrong? He said hammers create a fuller arm, which you dont know what exactly he meant by that... it could mean a bigger forearm which would be a "fuller arm" and you supported that through your post. Sounds like you are mixed up too.

    the difference is supination, and depending on your views on supination alternate curls could be better. The only difference I have noticed is that hammer curls hit your forearms harder. I did a hammer-curl exclusive program once and did not notice a significant increase in my brachialis. Everyone is different tho, so I didn't establish anything except piece of mind for myself.

    Do whichever one you like best, or both. They both make you're arms hugeness

    Hammer curls will hit a diff. part of your forearm differently, just see what feels right for you.

    hammers are awsome for forarms. dumbells work the biceps a little more. They are both good in different respects.
