    Adventure races, anyone compete?

On ESPN2 the other day, my fiance and I watched an adventure race in Utah (I think). 480 miles, climbing, rappelling, mountain biking, running, kayaking, etc.
Anyone do these? We're looking into trying one next spring (training now), although more amateur, scaled down, local, etc. Any info would be appreciated.

to be honest, it sounds like a blast. you should post up any info you find out here!
