The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Going to meet Jay Cutler!!

Yep, on the 25th I'm going to see Jay Cutler. He is a guest poser at a bodybuilding show and will be having a booth set up before the event.

I want to meet him, but i've never been to one of these events, so i'm not sure what i can do vs. no do. What can I say to him other then the typical "OMGZZ ITS JAY CUTLER I LOVZ U MAN!!!11!!"?

Also, whats the rules on pictures? Is a hand shake and a pic the norm?

I personally dont like jay but I think i'd melt if I ever met kevin levrone.....haha that sounds like a backstreet girl fan

If its crowded then a quick exchange of words and an autograph/picture is all you'll get but pray that you can talk to him. From what I've heard most pro bodybuilders love the attention and would be glad to talk/listen to you.

Although if I met kevin levrone I think I'd just sit there and drool/stutter and keep repeating "is it really you?! kevin levrone? is that your birth name?? I'm so glad to meet you. I cant remember my name but if I could he'd be glad to meet you. Will you touch me so I'll never bath again".

ahahaha. But seriously. Thats how I'd act.

I've heard from a few people that Jay is a serious ****ing A-hole. I've gotten email replies from Jay where he comes off as a dick.

I'd love to meet Dexter Jackson and Ronnie Coleman.

mariuz is georgeous and awesome - i've seen him a few times at the Aronld and I was wiht one of my polish teammates one of the times and was really nice to my polish friend- i have no idea what they talked about though thay taked polish the whole time
Way down this road, in a gym far away, a young man was once heard to say, "I've repped high and I've repped low, No matter what I do my legs won't grow."

He tried leg extensions, leg curls, and leg presses, too. Trying to cheat these sissy workouts he'd do. From the corner of the gym where the big men train, Through a cloud of chalk and the midst of pain.

Where the big iron rides high and threatens lives, Where the noise is made with big forty fives. A deep voice bellowed as he wrapped his knees, A very big man with legs like trees.

Laughing as he snatched another plate from the stack, Chalking his hands and monstrous back, Said "Boy stop lying and don't say you've forgotten, Trouble with you is you ain't been SQUATTIN"

By the way. Jay cutler and any other bodybuilder are three times as big in person as they look on stage. Just because you're so damned close to them.

If you buy a picture and have him autograph it, he'll likely chat longer. That being said, they seem to be ok getting your pic taken with him and a question or two. And have fun.

I dont have any questions to ask other then how much he squat/bench/dead, anything else ill feel like a jack ass asking, or the question will be too long to answer. Like, when someone asks me to tell them my routine, im just like, bench, deads, squats now go away. The next question is always "LOLZ wat R Deadzzz??"

How much do these pictures? $5?

In general the best way to get more than 2 seconds of attention from a celebrity is to either ask a non-typical question and/or congratulate them on something that not many other people would.

Ex: Instead of asking "how much do you bench?" and sounding like a total meathead, ask him if he's into powerlifting. If yes, ask him what he thinks about the guy who recently pulled over 1000 lbs. Etc etc.

As a side note, I saw Jon Stewart perform at Casino Rama. My g/f and I got to meet him backstage after the show. Instead of being a ditz and saying "OMG you're so funny you crazy Jew!" She complimented him on his performance at the Oscars. Not too many people were thrilled with that, but he was very appreciative and chatted with her for a bit.

Basically, show that you give a damn about what he does.

Is Gunther the only pro who is always nice?

In the 70s it seemed like the Pro were Gents towards the public, Arnold touched every woman he saw.

I met Jay yesterday. He had a seminar and I got to ask him a few questions which made my day. I really got to talk to this guy. I got pics on two different occasions during the event which was great!
