The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

You can always increase the weights too if you'd like...

    example:

    135x5
    145x5
    155x5
    165x5
    175x5
    5'6", 145 lbs.

choose whichever routine you like, as long as the weights keep moving up. I like bill starr's routine. It is muy bueno.

5x5 generally does not just refer to a set/rep scheme. There are numerous 5x5 routines out. Mostly, they consist of full body workouts concentrating on heavy 5x5 compound lifts with maybe a few higher rep isolation exercises.

Like micky said, Bill Starr's 5x5 is Great! I went from a 413lb dead to 450lbs in barely over a month!

If you decide to try out a well known 5x5 program, do what it says. Too many people try to change exercises to things they like or whatever...

I've used a 5x5 full body routine in the past focusing on the the three main lifts and had very nice results lifting three times a week.
Best way to cheat on deadlifts...

Stand there for a few minutes, then pace back and forth a lot, huff and puff, wait until everybody's looking. Approach the bar. Back off. Approach it again. Back off. Get some water. Chalk up. Approach the bar again. Then spray some more chalk around. Wait until people start losing interest. When nobody's looking, pick it a little off the floor, and slam it down. Jump up and yell "LIGHT WEIGHT BABY". Then give high fives all around. - Belial
