I just got my Dip Belt yesterday, but I think the chain isn't long enough. I plan on using for my dips and pull ups.
I can't remember the last time I used one (over 15 years) but, I'm assuming this is how it works?
Starting on the LEFT side of the belt, attach the clip. Feed the chain through right side of belt, then down though the center of the plate, and returning to the left side and attaching the 2nd clip. My reasoning for this, is so that the weight of the plate cinches the belt tight around me. Leaving the plate to hang between my knees.
If I am correct, then there is no way the chain that came with it will work and I'll have to go buy one about twice as long. Unless I plan on using 10lb plates tuttut
