Been weightlifting since July, and back in college I lifted for about a year.
Now I know I'm not eating enough - I'm slowly hedging up my calories. So I know what's wrong - it's my calories. I need to be patient.
I've been getting great gains with exercises I'm new at - the kind of gains where you're not yet skilled enough to take full advantage of existing muscle.
But the 'glamor' lifts (naturally the ones I've been doign the longest, and are therefore skilled at) -- Those have been flatlined for a month.
Tonight I was t.i.r.e.d and I was only barely able to curl what I've been curling since Oct (while easily repping out squats at a new weight).
I need to eat more. I need to maintain my program, steady as she goes.
But it's still discouraging to Barely be able to curl what you've been curling for a month.
