The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

I will take this no farther...

Perhaps to about 5-6% 3-site. I'm not really sure yet, honestly. I can't bulk until post-surgery anyhow, so I may as well get as lean as possible in the mean time. If I got surgery in July and I lost 1lb/week until then, I'd hit my goal pretty easily. It all depends on if I stagnate or not.

I took the week off to rehab my shoulder and get some things accomplished at work. I am back to UD2 this week and ready to go.

    05.16.2005 - Day 15 of 28 [UD2.0]
A couple steps back with the week off. I decided to take it easy so my shoulder would be closer to 100% this week when returning full force. I did use this time to eat some things I really shouldn't (including an all-out binge at a Hibachi restaurant), so I did put on a little weight. I believe that I'm floating around the 179 - 11% area as of this morning, which is likely an overshoot due to the egregious amount of carbs I took in last night. I'll recover this week and begin my progression next.

    .diet.supplements.
    ANTICARB0.

8oz cottage cheese, 6oz bluebunny yogurt, 3 fish oil caps
8oz turkey, 3 fish oil caps
6oz chicken, 1 tbsp DAG oil, green veggies
16oz low-carb milk, 2 servings Nitrean, 1 tbsp DAG oil, 10g psyllium fiber

    1293 kcals 45g fat 42g carbs 179g protein

    Supplements : ETS (4 caps AM/PM), sesathin (3x1/4ml), multi-vitamin, 15mg yohimbine hcl + 900mg acetyl-l-carnitine + 900mg taurine (3x), 200mg caffeine (pre-workout), calcium carbonate (750mg AM/1500mg PM)

    .workout.
This is a full body depletion workout.

    leg extension : 65x15, 15, 15, 15, 15, 15
    leg curl : 60x15, 15, 15, 15, 15, 15
    inc db press: 35x15, 15, 15
    neutral row : 80x15, 15, 15
    chest press : 80x15, 15, 15
    lat pulldown : 60x15, 15, 15
    db curls : 25x15:15

Much nausea. I had to hurry back to eat my turkey because I was very miserable. Otherwise, it was w hat it was.

About forty minutes, give or take.

    will
It can get intense, but it is worth every pang.

Yeah, it's lunchmeat. It's not too bad - 0g fat/carbs and a decent amount of protein. If I had the time, I'd cook a turkey, but for now I'll stick to the lunchmeat.

    ryuage
Good idea. I've done that with chicken before, but not turkey.

I give you props mang... 1200 cals... no wonder your at 11% and I'm at 30%... :-) I guess I just don't have the dedication you have...

I could probably do low to no carb but the total cals would need to be higher....

Good looking workout... doesn't all that volume give you insane DOMS?

    Hey.

I got your message from like a week ago. I've been meaning to call back, but I can't find your number anywhere (My phone was off when you called so it didn't show up on my caller id).

PM me with it or call again and leave it and I'll give you a ring.

We tend to think of Sisyphus as a tragic hero, condemned by the gods to shoulder his rock sweatily up the mountain, and again up the mountain, forever. The truth is that Sisyphus is in love with the rock. He cherishes every roughness and every ounce of it. He talks to it, sings to it. It has become the mysterious Other. He even dreams of it as he sleepwalks upward. Life is unimaginable without it, looming always above him like a huge gray moon. He doesnít realize that at any moment he is permitted to step aside, let the rock hurtle to the bottom, and go home.

    Rapid update for j00.

I've stopped UD2 this week because my workload has grown too large for me to keep up with the structure. Instead, I'll be carb cycling as strictly as I can imagine. Next week I should be OK to start back up again.

This will give me two weeks of fat-loss before my doctor's appointment on June 6, where I'll be getting my initial review for surgery. I will probably attempt to schedule my surgery for July 1, because I have 4/5 off, giving me a solid 4 days of recovery post-op.

If you live in the Northeast Virginia or Southwest Maryland areas and you'd like to meet up, I will be between Rockville, MD and Chester, VA the week of June 6-10. After 4:00pm, I'll be bored as *** and sitting in a hotel alone is not really my idea of excitement.

Doing UD2 with my low-carb days as PSMF to accelerate loss. Including Sesathin on the weekends now.

Sorry for the brevity. My life is governed by conciseness as of late.
