The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Christmas Gifts

Seeing as it's been snowing all weekend here after beautiful, (sickening) summer weather to this point, I finally realized it was pretty darn close to christmas. So went out into the mall today, dealt with the somewhat crowd with my brother to get our parents their christmas gift. Now all I've got left is fiance and brother (who we've decided just to buy one another gym bags seeing as we came to the conclusion we both needed them). So, seeing as I'm sure everyone else is contemplating what to get those they love/stand, and what they should put on their own list, maybe these two questions will help get some ideas going.

What do you want for christmas?
What's your best gift that your getting someone else?

What I want for christmas is place for my apartment. Been living away from home four years, and by myself a year of that, and don't really have anything. So it's finally time to toss out the old value village $30 special couch and get some decent stuff.
Also, a katana. Don't ask me why, just always loved them.

Best gift for someone else.. For the fiance I'm finally getting her the engagement ring (we've been engaged about two months. Was something I wanted to ask for a while, but wanted acceptance of her parents and to convert (Islam) before doing it.. anyway, it just sort of happened, and I hadn't got her the ring yet so that's why she hasn't got it yet. On the bright side, got her parents acceptance)
Other then that, I wanna get her some other little things. Some books, tickets to a opera or ballet, and whatever other trinkets..
    LaLa

I also would like to do the engagement ring, but it looks like it will have to wait until at least Valentine's Day.

I don't want anything - just money, to help with the above.

As far as what I'm getting people:

    No clue whatsoever.

I want an mp3 player so I don't have to listen to the garbage they play at my gym.

Best gift I'm getting someone? I have no friggin clue. I suck at shopping for people.

I would like a notebook bag, files, plastic holders, binders etc. A notebook bag is actually what I'd really like though. It'd be something I could store my clients files, my forms and papers in.

As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. i try to be very personal with xmas presents. i dont like getting "general" presents that could be given to everyone. i hate the idea of giving gift certificates or cash, but sometimes it's ok.

my digital camera is one of my favorite presents ive received. since its something i always wanted but never wanted to go get.

the ultimate xmas gift, is socks. everyone always needs socks.

    For Christmas I'd like:
    iPod (any size)
    Metroid Prime 2
    A new cologne
Some new clothing (workout pants, hoodies)

That's about it. I'm asking my parents to have a couple trees cut out in my back yard. Otherwise, I don't have much of a need for material things.

Is it normal to ask for a new guardian angel for Christmas? I think mine has been hitting the bottle a little too much as of late.
