The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    Study Abroad

Has anybody here ever studied abroad? I was thinking about doing it within the next year and a half and have been looking into both academic and internship programs in London. My best friend did it and it seemed like he had a great time and he visited like 12 other European countries in the process. I've been mostly looking at semester-only programs, but the year-long looks more and more appealing. For those of you who did it, any advice and did you have a good time?

    Too cool for school.

Reloaded, do it. Without a doubt, do it. I studied abroad (not in Europe - I was in China), but it was one of the best experiences of my academic/personal life. As far as semester versus year considerations, that depends on two things.

    1) How attached are you to your home institution (ie., do you have a lot of friends there, etc.)?
    2) How's your financial situation looking - living in Europe is a kick in the walletbook.

Do it man, I cant wait next year to go to Canada for a semester. Itl be one heck of an experience.
Being a strong teenager means nothing.

My wrists hurt, but some people don't have wrists to be sore. My knees have tendinitis, but some people don't have legs to get tendinitis in. I seem to be going backwards with training, yet some people can't even walk let alone lift 400 pounds on a daily basis.

Dust out the vagina, and keep on lifting.

    Do it.

The journal / I live here.

If I were to start from scratch as a young 13 year old again, I would do every press, squat, and perhaps deadlifts, for my entire career with chains. -- Dan John
