I did 15x205 (BW=204 lbs) after my regular bench workout yesterday. Fresh I think I could do more.

    wow what a coincidence

I did 205x15 the other day for a work out at around 202, though I had more in me

I regularly do 225x12 @~202 with stuff still left in the tank, I could prolly get near 225x15, which leads me to believe I could get 205x20 at least, so I could prolly get pretty close to Beast

I remember a thread like this about 2 years ago i think, when i was ~180, and I did 175x21 or so I believe, I really wanted 25, though that seems out of the question

if I ever give it a good 100% shot @ ~200 I will post it here

btw my max bench is like 345-350 or so, though I have been getting weaker as finals hit, so I have lost some str.

Damn, I feel like a poonanny for using 190 with others using 205.

I guess I'll just wait for Kevin to own me with his 50+ reps, hehe

I wanted to get a better showing in this competition but my shoulder is not cooperating just yet.
Did 235 x 14 just had to stop felt like something in my delt was about to let go. I didnt read if you have to pause the reps so I just touched and pressed.

Beast - Im not much of a repper man so I have no idea how many i'll get.

Blackcat - Well the deadline is in March so you have time for your shoulder to heal. Reps are touch and go but you must lock them out.

I'm going to see if I can work up to close grip flat DB pressing my body weight for reps. I did 60s last night that way and my shoulder felt fine even touching chest each rep. Probably not going to be able to progress to 80s by the deadline but it's something to shoot for.

If yoiur bench max is 345-350 then I think you should be good for well over 20 with 205. Your max is way higher than mine.

Not a max right now.. but I'm putting a starting point in here..
    Today I did 235 x 13 reps...
Hopefully I can get that to 225 x 25 reps by March.. that would be cool..

I did mine today, I got 225lbs x 18 reps. I thought for sure I would of hit 20 reps. I was a little disappointed in myself. I bet in another month I can get up over 20.

    275 x 17. I wish I weighed 275. That would make the math easier.

Screw it, I'm never going to do reps with 225. But it's a cool contest.

Trashed right shoulder. I ignored it too long and now I might never be able to touch my chest regular barbell benching again without causing further damage. If it was at 100% I'd already be good for 5 or 7 body weight.

hmm why did i miss this until now?
dang im gonna like this, Ill get them after my workout next sunday or tuesday.

How many people think i can break the squat challenge of 50 reps, that will be my goal, only have to push up about 170, , been forever since ive used such lightweight high reps. boy is my chest going to burn.....
Ill even try and get a vid of me doing 305x10 to for the non believers.

285x5 is about what i can get.

I guess my final weight for this would be 250 and at most i may get 20 reps in march.

So far im at the biggest disadvantage due to my lard

Please do man that'd be a sick video to see. If you can bench 305 x 10 at 170 you should have no problem destorying this competition.

Smokinhawk - Why cant you keep your butt down?

MJ V2 - Nice man you should just go for the 130 though since thats what you weight. Definitelly want every advantage you can get.
