The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

    No Results Diet related?

Hey im new to the forum but have been lifting on and off for about 3 years now. I have been lifting and running for about 3 months now and am trying to lose some weight. I am at 225 pounds and am 6 feet tall, im also 19 years old. I can feel results under my layer of fat, and have lost about 2 belt sizes, but I weight the same 225 for the past 3 months. I eat roughly 1500 calories a day and am full. I mostly eat meat and protein foods with very little carbohydrate intake. I do weight lifting 3 times a week and do HIIT the other 3 days of the week with 1 rest day on sunday. Im wondering am I doing something wrong because I cant seem to shake this fat off of me. I have ordered some thermocine to help me out because I die at the gym after about 40 mins. So any suggestions about what I might be doing wrong.

1500 cals for a 225 6' tall male. Sounds like extreme dieting for the past 3 months destroyed your metabolism. Raise your cals and start over with a proper diet plan.

This isn't meant to be sarcastic, but "more". It's hard to eat when you aren't hungry, so just start by eating more than you do now. Although there is no way to just pick a number, IMO you could be losing weight on 2000 calories.

Try increasing in increments of 250 cals/week.
