The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

Itís no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Workout on Christmas, or play musical chairs with my workout schedule?

I bet the same question has occured to many of you.

I'm torn between Somehow trying to find Sometime on Christmas to workout -

Or loosing my Wednesday rest day and smashing together my four workouts.

If you're worried, don't take a rest day. Do a 4 day workout this week. I hardly ever take rest days except on Sundays (during football season.) As far as working out Christmas, I wouldn't worry about missing one day. Just enjoy the day..eat a ton and get loaded . Back to the grind the day ater.

    Choices:
    a) Wake up at 5 am, do workout and put up with family while being tired all day
    b) Enjoy sleeping in, being lazy and eating tons of food

I vote for b) every time.

Boxing day? He's not in Canada, bohizzy.

Questor: Why not just change up your workout schedule for one week. Combine two of your workouts into other sessions so you get the same amount of work done in 2 days instead of 4. Just don't overdo it on the volume.

good luck finding a gym open on christmas- (wait you work out at home dont you?)

if you normally work out one mon, tues, thurs, fri
id just swich it to tues, wed, fri,sat
Way down this road, in a gym far away, a young man was once heard to say, "I've repped high and I've repped low, No matter what I do my legs won't grow."

He tried leg extensions, leg curls, and leg presses, too. Trying to cheat these sissy workouts he'd do. From the corner of the gym where the big men train, Through a cloud of chalk and the midst of pain.

Where the big iron rides high and threatens lives, Where the noise is made with big forty fives. A deep voice bellowed as he wrapped his knees, A very big man with legs like trees.

Laughing as he snatched another plate from the stack, Chalking his hands and monstrous back, Said "Boy stop lying and don't say you've forgotten, Trouble with you is you ain't been SQUATTIN"

Thats a common misconception. Skipping a workout will, in fact, kill you.

my gym is right outside in my garage....so an hour out of the day is not a big deal at all

Reach down between your legs and find a pair of balls. That's what it takes to lift big weights. Genetics is the weak man's excuse for why he sucks at life. Don't be that guy - RhodeHouse

Lies. I wouldn't even know how to go about loosening a day of my routine. It's impossible!

    Someone once told me:

"If you miss a workout or have a crappy workout - that workout is GONE - you'll never get it back."

So I hate to miss a day, and I hate bad workouts. Like tonight's. Tonight's sucked!

And even more galling, I'll have to miss tomorrow's workout for some stupid Christmas party.
