    January Update- progress pics.

    Ok so it has been about 2 months since I last posted pics and while I'm still ranging between 178-184 in weight, I figured I'd post some pictures and possibly get another BF% guesstimate. Strength has definitely increased in the last couple months. Here is the old thread for comparison.

    Now the new pics taken just now, used the timer this time so no mirror shots. My assistant in some of the pics is Phoebe, my border collie Leg pics will come with the next update, I'm still too embarassed of them to post them just yet. Started dead lifting though and they are definitely a lot better than they once were.

    Edit: Ignore the big ass earrings, have to keep those for a month before I can throw in some diamond plugs. =P [/edit]

    You are looking good man. Amazing transformation. I would say you BF is around 10%
    5'11" 185lbs 9% BF

    Thanks man. Do you really think am I around 10%? Around what % would abs start being noticeable, b/c that's where I want to get to before I bulk for a while.

    And I felt like an idiot taking pictures in front of teh TV, but it was the only place I could get half decent lighting.

    Forgot to say in the first post, but I'm 6'1" and 19. I'll go edit.

    Yup, keep up the good work.

    I'd say your lats need a lot of work to give you some more width. Arms look great though. Also, what about legs?

    I'd say 12%, not 10%. It's deceving because you're lbm though, so I could be wrong. It doesn't matter anyhow, just keep doing what you're doing. Great job!

    Looking good, dude. Your bicep peak is impressive. I think it would be tough to get a good estimate on body fat right now, but I'd probably agree with the estimate of 12%. I wouldn't worry about seeing abs right now, though. I think you'd really benefit from a slow, clean bulk. Try to really focus on your back. Barbell rows, pullups and deadlifts will really help you put on some size.

    Great progress. I'd agree with the 12% estimate, although it may be lower since you probably have some loose skin that is making it tough to give an accurate guess.

    In your side pictures it looks like you have a very hunched over posture. It might just be poor posture but I think you may have a bit of a muscle imbalance as well. Try pulling your shoulders back. Also, don't neglect the back work.

    Yeah I believe I am hunched over a bit, which I hate. I think it's from when I was a lot fatter and I have been trying to correct it. My back used to be better before I took ~1month off for the move and I don't know what happened, all of my lifts overall dropped a bit, but are now back up to normal. But lat pulldowns, bent over rows and normal rows are all still way down and I work my back just as much as anything else. I threw pullups back into my workout which I had taken out and instead of being able to do 3x8 with relative ease, I could only do 1x6 and 2x3. Hopefully it will improve over the next couple months.

    Is there any way to get rid of loose skin other than surgury? My arms, lower stomach and inner things all have some loose skin.

    Yup, she's an 8 year old border collie. She has almost no hip joints left since she is so active
