I understand that nutrition after a weight traing workout is very important. However I am not too sure about proper nutrition after my cardio sessions.
I typically consume a small meal (egg whites & oatmeal) shortly after my cardio workouts, especially since I usually do cardio first thing in the AM on an empty stomach and I thought it would be important to get some nutrients ASAP after my cardio. Recently I read some information that suggest putting off eating for at least one hour after cardio so as to take maximum advantage of the increased metabolic rate the body has from the cardio session.
Assuming cutting is my goal for the time being, what would be your suggestions for my post cardio nutrition?
