I don't know how much anyone will care, but this was something really great for me that I didn't mention until I was sure it was cool with people.
Recently the official organist of the Vatican (regular performer in St. Peter's Basilica) came to my school to perform. A little bit of deciding was done, and I was selected as the most competent pianist.
So I got to accompany one of the best organists in the entire world for a Mass.
I'm not Catholic or anything, but I am first and foremost a pianist and this was probably the highlight of my last year.
Thought some of you religious people might find this cool.
