Awesome 3 board. I must start board work again. Kev if you get a chance can you post some vids of your board work, or direct me to ones you have already made. My bench form is similar to yours and was curious as to how you do them.

Liftingkid - Thanks man high rep board presses are real fun and a real tricep killer.

Coke - Thanks man im lovin it.

    Chub - Thanks.

Sidior - I only have some old videos of me doin close grip boards but honestly I feel the closer the better on board presses since you really just wanna destroy your triceps. These are some 2-board videos..

    cool vids kevin

would be nice to get some of that kind of work in myself

what do you think about benching off of pins in the squat rack as a substitute for the boards?

i went to failure on bench for the first time in a long while and it was at the 2 or 3-board height. need to tighten up that portion of the lift.

Roark - Off a rack isnt the same. You dont have that downward phase that you do with board pressing and your groove might be slightly different on rack pressing. Rack presses are great but serve a different purpose then boards. Peoples raw sticking point tends to be the 2-board so I work that good and hard.

Nice work on the close grips and boards... interesting how people's sticking point is around 2 board. Never really thought about it before... that would certainly explain why most of the PLers I know do 2 and 3 bd almost exclusively.

    135 x 5
    225 x 5
    275 x 5
    315 x 5
    275 x 5

    Chest Supported T-Bar Rows -

Lame and boring workout but really great news. The guy who runs the gym at the school told me they've ordered new bench's, new dumbells, a squat cage, and a bunch of other new equipment. This makes me very very happy because i'll then have EVERYTHING I need finally and will be able to resume my actual training. It should all get here this semester too so hopefully you'll all see some more interesting workouts soon.
