The Five Biggest Contradictions in Fitness

It’s no secret that when people contradict themselves, it has the effect of making the flaws in their actions or statements seem glaringly obvious. But what about when WE ourselves get caught contradicting ourselves by someone else?

Your benching is insane as always. You got a consistent training partner down there?

    Risk - Haha hell yah

Stump -I hope so man that would really be nice. I might try for a heavy single next week.

Sidior - No, I train 4 people usually only 2 at a time are able to make it. I wouldnt really call them partners since they dont really know very much but I at least have sometime to give me lift offs and spots when needed. The guys im workin with are makin great progress though. Both are now pulling 225 for reps on deadlift and Ed started no bein able to bench press 180 once 4 weeks ago and he did 5x3 with 185 on tuesday.

Mik - Haha yah man someday i'll move good weight.

Uholy - I really want to man but im so broke its not even funny, freakin college.. Trust me this summer I wanna start training at Southside at least for bench if not everything else i'll have to see how often I can get up there from my town but its no too too far. I dont wanna sound overconfident but I think with some shirt training under the influence of pro's like the guys at Southside I think I could break some 18-19 year old 165 bench records in several federations in a shirt. APA is only 380 (i've hit 385 paused in training) and most of the other feds its in the low low 400's which wouldnt be a problem with some shirt training.

    Progress - Thanks man.

Pinky - I've been great man, kicking it in San Francisco these days.

    Uholy - Thanks man

HeavyBomber - Yes im 162 at the moment.

McIrish - I barely have enough money to do my laundry, wont be able to compete until at least late summer.

    Kiaran - Thanks man.

    Coke - haha thanks man.

Bruteman - Oh I do have a shirt but I also go to art school and aside from havin a crappy gym to workout in I dont exactly have a good team of people to help me get in the shirt or spot me properly. I have my Rage X out here and would definitelly like to get in it one of these days.

    Detard - Thanks dude.

Nice lifting......I'm wondering...what exercises do you do for your rotator cuff? Did you have an injury or is it more for preventative strengthening?

Booyah - I injured them a few years back and they healed up but I still do the rotator cuff exercises every workout to prevent it from happening again. I just do light dumbell rotations and cuff extentions.
